What is a "satoshi"?

All prices at Zap Road are denominated in satoshis (their equivalent in fiat currencies is displayed for convenience).

Named after bitcoin's creator, a satoshi is a fraction of a bitcoin. Like a cent to a dollar, except there are 100M satoshis in each bitcoin! One satoshi is the fundamental unit of measure in the Bitcoin network.

Another way to look at it is that "one bitcoin" is just a name for 100M satoshis 😉
